PV-Power Systems

SEG Sonnenrepublik also plans and projects large PV-Power Systems

At the beginning of 2017, a photovoltaic system with a rated output of 36 kWp was installed on an old commercial building in Berlin-Pankow, which since then has been feeding solar energy in the form of electricity into the art glass blowing factory every day. This means that more than 30 megawatt hours of energy are generated each year and, for the most part, consumed directly in the smelting furnaces, without having to go through networks, transformers, etc., thus avoiding more than 16 tonnes of CO2.

This is a successful example of practiced environmental protection and sustainability.

It shows that the energy revolution is also possible in densely populated cities, because even there are suitable low-shadow places where solar systems can be installed.
